Himachal Pradesh reports 8 new Covid-19 cases

SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh reported 8 new positive cases of Covid-19 on Thursday while 12 patients have also recovered. The state has total of 2,84,990 confirmed positive cases of which 82 cases are active, 2,80,772 patients have recovered and 4,117 patients have died.
So far 46,30,177 persons have been tested for Covid-19 to date of which 43,45,186 persons have been tested negative. Since 7pm on Wednesday, total 2,194 samples were tested in the state, and result of one sample is awaited.
Positive cases reported include one from Hamirpur district, 2 from Kangra district, one from Kullu district, one from Mandi district, one from Shimla district and 2 from Solan district. Those recovered include one from Hamirpur district, 10 from Kangra district and one from Una district.
Bilaspur district has one active case, Chamba district has 8 active cases, Hamirpur district has 7 active cases, Kangra district has 26 active cases, Kullu district has 2 active cases, Lahaul-Spiti district has one active case, Mandi district has 3 active cases, Shimla district has 12 active cases, Sirmaur district has 3 active cases, Solan district has 17 active cases and Una district has 2 active cases.
