PATNA: A 22-year-old nursing student was seriously injured after she jumped off a speeding train to escape sexual assault in
Samastipur late on Tuesday evening.
According to Samastipur GRP inspector Acchey Singh Yadav, the victim said four to six miscreants were about to make sexual assault on her by touching her inappropriately.
According to
ECR chief public relations officer

"She was found lying unconscious near the tracks from where she was immediately rushed to the divisional railway hospital at Samastipur with the help of local people and
RPF," the Kumar said.
Samastipur RPF inspector
