Six Covid cases, four recoveries in Vid

Nagpur: The Vidarbha region recorded six Covid cases, including three from Amravati, two from Nagpur and one from Gadchiroli on Wednesday.
Amravati saw three cases from over 147 tests while Nagpur recorded two cases from more than 472 tests in a day. The patients had symptoms, so they got tested and were found positive, Nagpur officials said.
The month’s Covid tally is 67 while recoveries increased to 54 after four more patients were discharged, keeping the active case tally at 30.
The number of districts having Covid cases increased to nine after dropping to just four a few weeks ago. The active cases are from Nagpur (12), Wardha, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Amravati, Yavatmal, Buldhana and Washim. Bhandara and Akola haven’t reported any new case for a while and continue to maintain their Covid-free status.
Over 2,400 tests were done in the region. The recovery rate has improved to 98.35%.
