Long outages in New Palam Vihar, residents protest

Gurgaon: The residents of New Palam Vihar staged a protest on Wednesday highlighting power cuts in their area. Inderjeet Mann, a resident of New Palam Vihar, said that for more than 24 hours the residents were facing power cuts and repeated calls to discom officials failed to resolve the issue. The residents said on Tuesday the transformer of the area burnt out causing power cuts.“ DHBVN officials said the transformer burnt out due to excessive load.
