Puff Daddy, P Diddy, Diddy, Puffy – these are just a few of the monikers Sean Combs has used over the years.
Now, the American rapper is finally setting the record straight on what he wants you to call him.
Diddy discussed his many monikers when he stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday for what marked his 17th and final appearance.
When asked by DeGeneres, "What's your name?" the rapper laughed, responding, "I feel it's very important that I clear that up."
"I decided that I am just going to go by the name Diddy," he added.
Ellen then pointed out that Diddy recently changed his legal name to Love, to which Diddy agreed.
"See, Diddy is my nickname. Love is my real name. I just changed my name to Love," the rapper explained. "Sean Love Combs, that's what it says on my driver's license. That's my official name, Love."
And just in case there are any doubts about whether Diddy might change it again, the record producer had the word 'Love' tattooed on the side of his torso.
