Vadilal Industries(up 9.70%), Parag Milk(up 5.71%), Euro India Fresh Foods(up 4.38%), Future Consumer(up 4.17%), Marico(up 2.42%), ADF Foods(up 2.38%), Dabur India(up 2.26%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.91%), Hind.Foods(up 1.71%) and Umang Dairies(up 1.48%) were among the top gainers.
Emami(down 1.77%), Zydus Wellness(down 1.55%), Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(down 1.27%), Nakoda Group(down 1.21%), P & G Hygiene(down 0.80%), Varun Beverages(down 0.51%), Dodla Dairy(down 0.43%), Colgate Palmolive(India)(down 0.39%), Bajaj Consumer(down 0.07%) and Prataap Snacks(down 0.05%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 73.95 points up at 16333.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 221.41 points at 54539.88 at around 11:15AM.
Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 2.36%), Bajaj Auto(up 2.15%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.91%), Axis Bank(up 1.81%), Asian Paints(up 1.73%), Cipla(up 1.71%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.51%), Britannia Industries(up 1.26%), UltraTech Cement(up 1.16%) and Divis Laboratories(up 1.07%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India(down 2.16%), Bharti Airtel(down 2.09%), Enterprises(down 0.9%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.89%), State Bank of India(down 0.8%), JSW Steel(down 0.47%), Tata Motors(down 0.24%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.24%), NTPC(down 0.2%) and ITC(down 0.09%) were trading in the red.
