NEW DELHI: Fertilisers shares closed lower in the Wednesday's session.
National Fertilizer(up 10.91%), Madras Fertlizers(up 5.27%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 4.90%), & Fertilizers(up 4.69%), G S F C(up 4.38%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 4.25%), & Fertilizers(up 3.04%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 2.23%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 1.95%) and KRISHANA(up 1.41%) stood among the top gainers.
& Fertilizers(down 6.09%), Agro Phos(down 4.97%), Sikko Industries(down 3.19%), Coromandel International(down 1.41%), & Petrochemicals(down 1.20%), ZUARIAGRO(down 0.44%) and Fertilizers (down 0.05%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 19.0 points down at 16240.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 109.94 points at 54208.53.
TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 2.73%), Shree Cement(up 2.11%), Hindustan Unilever(up 2.07%), UltraTech Cement(up 2.06%), Cipla(up 2.04%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 2.02%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.8%), Asian Paints(up 1.64%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.47%) and Bajaj Auto(up 1.29%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India(down 4.5%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 3.08%), Tech Mahindra(down 2.18%), Tata Motors(down 2.12%), Enterprises(down 2.05%), State Bank of India(down 1.99%), Larsen & Toubro(down 1.97%), JSW Steel(down 1.68%), Bajaj Finserv(down 1.62%) and Bharti Airtel(down 1.54%) closed in the red.
