Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Wednesday at 11:05AM

& Fertilizers(up 4.85%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 3.38%), KRISHANA(up 3.32%), G S F C(up 2.69%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 1.17%), National Fertilizer(up 0.82%) and & Petrochemicals(up 0.29%) were among the top gainers.

& Fertilizers(down 7.32%), Agro Phos(down 4.97%), Sikko Industries(down 2.10%), Fertilizers (down 1.32%), & Chemicals(down 1.02%), Coromandel International(down 0.88%), Madras Fertlizers(down 0.84%), & Fertilizers(down 0.67%), ZUARIAGRO(down 0.56%) and Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.52%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 88.3 points up at 16347.6, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 271.78 points at 54590.25 at around 11:05AM.

Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 2.37%), Bajaj Auto(up 2.16%), Asian Paints(up 1.93%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.74%), Axis Bank(up 1.73%), Cipla(up 1.71%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.48%), Bajaj Finance(up 1.37%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.24%) and Britannia Industries(up 1.17%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India(down 1.93%), Bharti Airtel(down 1.19%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.69%), State Bank of India(down 0.61%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(down 0.43%), NTPC(down 0.3%), JSW Steel(down 0.29%), Tata Motors(down 0.18%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.17%) and Reliance Industries(down 0.13%) were trading in the red.
