Rajkot: A 52-year-old man was brutally beaten up by four unidentified people when he was sleeping in his farm and robbed of his ornaments and cash.
Victim Tida Bhambhva of Falla village near Jamnagar on Tuesday was robbed of his gold earrings, five silver finger rings and Rs 15,000 in cash, the police said. Cops suspect it to be the handiwork of either farm labourers or an a local gang of goons.

Taluka police said they have rounded up the suspect but have not revealed the identity as the stolen ornaments are yet to be recovered.
Khunt had latched the door of the bungalow and taken her two children to a park for an hour when the theft happened, cops added.
GRD woman attempts suicide, makes video
Rajkot: A woman gram rakshak dal (GRD) attempted suicide in Mangrol town of Junagadh district, alleging harassment by her colleagues and other police staff. Kajal Gohel, 29, even made a video before consuming rodenticide on May 14. The video started doing rounds on social media on Tuesday. Gohel was admitted to a hospital in Junagadh and Mangrol police inspector has been asked to conduct a thorough inquiry.
