Bikram Singh Majithia moves Punjab and Haryana HC for bail

CHANDIGARH: Former Punjab minister and SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia has approached the Punjab and Haryana high court, seeking directions to release him on regular bail in the drug case.
In his plea, Majithia has submitted that former Congress-led state government misused its power for wreaking vengeance against its political opponents and he was a target. Confined in jail, the former minister has also contended the present state government had also not left any stone unturned to target him.
