Anuja Jaiswal. Rajkumar Singh Chauhan was arrested for a fight that broke out between him and his neighbour over the latter allegedly urinating outside his house on Monday night.

Autopsy report mentions cardiac arrest as cause of death, say policeA departmental inquiry has been initiated, he said. Kumar added that a magisterial inquiry has also been marked into the matter by the district magistrate.
"We will also send a report to the district judge for conducting a judicial inquiry," Kumar added, saying the matter will be inquired into by the crime branch of another district.
Police said that they had received information about the clash around 10 pm on Monday. When they reached the spot, they found two groups pelting stones at each other and arrested two people, Rajkumar and his neighbour Aakash (who uses his first name only). They were taken for a medical examination.
SP Bikash Kumar Baidya said the accused complained of uneasiness around 4 am and was immediately taken to district hospital by three police personnel. He was sent back to the police station after treatment but his condition worsened at around 6:30 am. He was once again rushed to hospital, where he died.
Police said the post-mortem report mentioned that the cause of death was cardiac arrest. His viscera has been preserved, they added. The cremation was conducted peacefully and the situation is under control, they claimed.
Meanwhile, the victim's family members staged a protest at the Chandpa police station, demanding strict action against the cops and accusing them of having a hand in Rajkumar's death.
In the FIR, the victim's brother, Raman Singh, claimed that Rajkumar had sustained bullet injuries on his left hand and right leg after their neighbour "opened fire on him with the intention to kill".
"A police team reached the spot and took my brother to the police station, where he was badly thrashed. He was taken to hospital in a critical condition but they did not admit him and again assaulted him after bringing him back to the police station. He was killed by cops," Raman alleged.
