Missing doctor found dead

Amritsar: The body of a missing doctor was fished from a canal on Tuesday, while an employee of Baba Bakala Civil Hospital was shot to death on Monday night.
A few locals saw the body floating in the Sultanwind canal near Tara Wala Pul and alerted the cops, who called divers to pulled out the body. The victim, Dr Subhash Vohra, was missing since May 15. Maqboolpura station house officer Gurinder Singh said: “We sent the body for autopsy and we are also investigating the suicide angle.” tnn
