₹27.15 lakh unaccounted cash seized from auto driver

Ludhiana: The Khanna police recovered Rs 27.15 lakh unaccounted cash from an auto driver on Tuesday. They have handed it over to the income tax department.
Khanna senior superintendent of police Ravi Kumar said, “The auto of accused Tanim of Saharanpur was stopped at a checkpost. During checking, Rs 27.15 lakh were recovered from a bag kept in it. The accused could not produce records related to the cash. We then called the income tax department for further action.”
