2 held for robbing man of phone, ₹8k

Gurgaon: Two men have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a man and snatching cash as well as a mobile phone from him. One of the duo had been in jail several times for his role in multiple crimes, cops told.
The accused have been identified as Raju alias Kalia (40) from Bihar and Vivek Tiwari (21) from Jharkhand.
Suresh Mukhia, a daily wager in Prem Nagar, was going to a shop on May 12 when he was attacked by the two men coming from Khandsa. One of them tried to strangle him, while the other snatched his mobile phone and Rs 7,900 from his pocket. They then fled. Suresh didn’t suffer any serious injuries.
An FIR was filed at Shivaji Nagar police station under sections 379B (punishment for theft) and 34 (common intention) of the IPC.
