The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has raided the premises of senior Congress leader P. Chidambaram and his son Karti Chidambaram. CBI is raiding 8 locations of P Chidambaram in Delhi and Chennai. However, there is no information from the CBI as to in which case this raid is taking place. P Chidambaram has been the Finance Minister and Home Minister in the Congress government.
"The Central Bureau of Investigation is conducting searches at multiple locations (residence and office) of Congress leader Karti Chidambaram, in connection with an ongoing case," said Chidambaram's office.
Earlier also, Chidambaram was arrested from his residence in 2019 by CBI over the INX Media corruption and money laundering case.
