Police, which had issued a lookout notice against her, have so far arrested three persons in this connection. One of the accused is still absconding. Police have sent teams to arrest the fourth criminal.
Earlier, Mon’s death was lodged as a normal case of accident. Later, then SP Ajay Singh during investigation revealed that Mon was murdered.

Later, she got a message that he died. Apparently, he got lost in the sand dunes and died of thirst and hunger.
A case was lodged at Shahgarh police station and investigation started. During investigation the deceased’s brother sent a complaint suspecting the death to be unnatural. The then SP Ajay Singh saw the report and ordered to lodge a murder case and start investigation.
Deputy SP Bhawani Singh thoroughly investigated the case and found Sanjay Kumar, and Vishwas SD to be involved in the crime. They were arrested and sent to judicial custody. The remaining accused Sumera and Abdul Sadik were absconding. Teams were sent but were unsuccessful in arresting the two.
