BJP, speculation of his possible inclusion in chief minister Basavaraj Bommai’s cabinet has been rife. “Horatti’s induction into the state cabinet will be decided by the central leadership of the party,” Narayan said.
The minister exuded confidence of the saffron party emerging victorious in the upcoming legislative council elections in the state. Pointing out that the state government was committed to ensuring the welfare of all sections of society, Narayan said, “People are aware of the achievements of both the state and central governments.”
Campaigning for MV Ravishankar, the BJP candidate contesting from the South Graduates’ constituency, Narayan said that the former was a familiar face in the segment, who had been involved in public service for the past five decades. The minister campaigned for the party candidate in
Mandya and Mysuru.
