Amid row over the secret 'locked rooms' of the Taj Mahal, the Archaeological Survey of India has released fresh pictures of these underground cells. Putting rest to the raging claims of a Shiva temple inside the basement, the ASI has published 4 photographs showing the before and after conversion of these rooms. These pictures that are a part of the January newsletter, have been in the public domain since then. It was released by the agency on ASI website on May 5 and tweeted on its official handle on May 9.
