Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:24AM

KRISHANA(up 3.76%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 3.63%), & Fertilizers(up 3.22%), National Fertilizer(up 2.84%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 2.48%), Aries Agro(up 2.45%), & Fertilizers(up 2.23%), Madras Fertlizers(up 2.11%), & Fertilizers(up 2.10%) and Coromandel International(up 1.39%) were among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 4.93%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.93%), Sikko Industries(down 1.14%), ZUARIAGRO(down 0.66%), Fertilizers (down 0.61%) and G S F C(down 0.14%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 184.0 points up at 16026.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 597.01 points at 53570.85 at around 10:24AM.

Hindalco Industries(up 6.52%), JSW Steel(up 3.94%), Tata Steel(up 3.91%), Coal India(up 3.2%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 3.16%), Reliance Industries(up 2.7%), Eicher Motors(up 2.37%), ITC(up 2.26%), HCL Technologies(up 2.01%) and Hindustan Unilever(up 2.0%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Cipla(down 1.11%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.89%), Asian Paints(down 0.26%), UltraTech Cement(down 0.21%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.15%), Shree Cement(down 0.14%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.06%), HDFC Bank(down 0.05%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.02%) were trading in the red.
