2 held with drugs in Panchkula, Chandigarh

PANCHKULA: Police arrested one person with heroin from near Bir Ghaggar on Monday. Police said the accused tried to escape on spotting them at a naka but was chased and caught.
Police said 4.02 gm heroin was found on him. The accused is Sunil Kumar, 41, of Kharak Mangoli. In Chandigarh, police arrested one Dimple Kumar, 31, a resident of Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, after 430 grams of charas was allegedly recovered from him near the dividing road of Sector 31 A-B.
