Dodla Dairy(up 6.71%), Future Consumer(up 4.35%), Zydus Wellness(up 3.00%), Britannia Industries(up 2.35%), Hindustan Unilever(up 2.30%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(up 1.90%), Heritage Foods(up 1.86%), Varun Beverages(up 1.82%), Godrej Consumer Products(up 1.58%) and DFM Foods(up 1.50%) were among the top gainers.
Nakoda Group(down 4.99%), Emami(down 1.28%), Dangee Dums(down 1.08%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.75%), Colgate Palmolive(India)(down 0.66%), Vadilal Industries(down 0.62%) and Bajaj Consumer(down 0.51%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 246.7 points up at 16089.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 798.06 points at 53771.9 at around 10:55AM.
Hindalco Industries(up 7.19%), Coal India(up 5.53%), JSW Steel(up 4.44%), Tata Steel(up 4.23%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 3.81%), ITC(up 3.19%), Reliance Industries(up 3.0%), HCL Technologies(up 2.82%), Eicher Motors(up 2.81%) and Larsen & Toubro(up 2.47%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Cipla(down 1.07%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.75%) and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.34%) were trading in the red.
