Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(up 5.28%), Dangee Dums(up 2.38%), Future Consumer(up 2.27%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(up 2.23%), Parag Milk(up 2.21%), Zydus Wellness(up 2.06%), Vadilal Industries(up 2.05%), Varun Beverages(up 1.04%), Tasty Bite Eatables(up 0.87%) and Hind.Foods(up 0.69%) were among the top gainers.
Nakoda Group(down 4.99%), Euro India Fresh Foods(down 2.98%), Bajaj Consumer(down 1.62%), Godrej Consumer Products(down 1.53%), Prataap Snacks(down 1.52%), Emami(down 1.45%), Nestle India(down 0.76%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.41%), Colgate Palmolive(India)(down 0.34%) and Dabur India(down 0.17%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 143.55 points up at 15925.7, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 472.29 points at 53265.91 at around 10:50AM.
Eicher Motors(up 5.89%), State Bank of India(up 3.37%), Tata Steel(up 2.86%), Maruti Suzuki(up 2.74%), JSW Steel(up 2.61%), IndusInd Bank(up 2.39%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 2.38%), Bajaj Finance(up 2.23%), Enterprises(up 2.19%) and Hero MotoCorp(up 2.13%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Shree Cement(down 1.88%), UltraTech Cement(down 1.6%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.98%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.91%), Tech Mahindra(down 0.89%), Infosys(down 0.83%), Nestle India(down 0.76%), ITC(down 0.58%), Asian Paints(down 0.52%) and Hindustan Unilever(down 0.42%) were trading in the red.
