10-year-old boy drowns in swimming pool in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Tragedy struck a family when their 10-year-old son drowned in a swimming pool under Chaitanyapuri limits on Sunday.
Police said that a few weeks ago Manoj, who studied in a residential school, came home for summer vacation.
On Sunday, he and his family went to visit a relative's house. To beat the heat, they went to a local swimming pool.
When Manoj and other family members were standing near the pool, the boy allegedly jumped into the water when no one was noticing him.
When his family noticed that he is missing, they searched for him. After a few miutes later, they noticed Manoj’s body in the pool.
Police has registered a case under 174 (suspicious death) of Cr.Pc
