THANE: Hundreds of railway passengers suffered inconvenience and were stranded for nearly three hours at Diva station after a shuttle service train to Roha developed snag due to a technical glitch and its service was suddenly cancelled on Sunday morning. An alternative rake was arranged by the railways by 11.38am but a majority of the commuters had already cancelled their trips or made other arrangements. The commuters complained they were kept waiting at the platform without any proper information about departure. "We were waiting in the train for over an hour and it was only after we enquired that the staff started announcements informing us about the cancellation of the service," said a commuter.
