Proteas women's trio Laura Wolvaardt, Sune Luus and Ayabonga Khaka will compete in the upcoming Women's T20 Challenge in India.
The tournament's fourth edition is set to be played from 23-28 May at Pune's MCA Stadium and will coincide with the Indian Premier League (IPL) playoffs.
The Women's T20 Challenge will comprise of four games between three teams - the Supernovas, Trailblazers and Velocity.
This will be the final three-team tournament with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) looking to expand the 2023 edition to five or six teams.
"It is our mission to promote and nurture the sport we love across all formats and the Women's T20 Challenge has always been key to that endeavour," said BCCI president Sourav Ganguly.
"The continued success of the tournament both on and off the field is encouraging and gives us immense confidence that we are heading in the right direction."
The best of Indian women's cricket will combine with some of the leading stars from South Africa, England, West Indies and Australia.
A total of 12 overseas players will compete in this year's T20 Challenge.
Luus, who led South Africa to the semi-finals of the Women's Cricket World Cup earlier this year, will represent the Supernovas this time around.
The Proteas all-rounder took part in the 2020 edition, where she played for the Velocity side.
Proteas fast bowler Khaka will also appear in her second T20 Challenge as she represents Velocity.
Wolvaardt, who was South Africa's best batter at the World Cup, will also feature for Velocity.
All three Proteas stars featured in this past weekend's concluding FairBreak Invitational in Dubai.
