'Breakfast with DM' felicitates govt employees for contribution towards people’s welfare

BAREILLY: On Sunday, the district magistrate (DM) of Kheri Mahendra Bahadur Singh, under the initiative “breakfast with DM", invited 16 government employees to felicitate them for their contribution towards people’s welfare through various innovations and unique ideas.
In all, five block development officers, two block education officers, seven council school teachers and principals, including two village heads, were honoured.
Among those who attended the event, a teacher, who not only restructured the school’s infrastructure but also took the children out for study tours on several occasions at his own expense. Similarly, another teacher was honoured for remodelling the school like a train.
The DM said that this initiative will continue to motivate government employees to work for the welfare of the public by going beyond the call of duty.
Speaking on this, one of the teachers said, “Even in the wildest of my dreams I had not thought of being accorded such appreciation and honour. We have never got so much respect. I am overwhelmed. We will continue to work hard and try to yield the desired results.”
