Pune: 30-year-old booked for raping minor niece

PUNE: The Pimpri Chinchwad police on Saturday registered a case against a 30-year-old man from Hingoli on the charge of raping his 14-year-old niece.
The incident occurred in January 2022, when he came to Khed to meet his sister.
An officer with Pimpri Chinchwad police said the complainant had raped the girl twice, when his sister used to go out for work.
“It came to light when the girl’s mother found out the daughter was pregnant,” said the officer.
