Ahmedabad records 15 new Covid cases

AHMEDABAD: The city in 24 hours added 15 new cases, the lowest in five days.
With discharge of 34 patients, the active cases reached 139. Gujarat in 24 hours recorded 33 new cases and discharge of 37 patients, taking the active cases to 214.
Of total active cases, 2 were on ventilator. The other new cases included 10 from Vadodara city, 6 from Gandhinagar city, and 1 each from Anand and Surat districts. Out of 33 districts of Gujarat, 20 have zero active cases.
Gujarat in 24 hours vaccinated 199 persons for the first dose and 2,159 for the second. In all, 5.39 crore are administered first and 5.17 crore second dose of Covid vaccine.
The state administered 937 second doses to the children in 12-14 years age group, taking the total to 9.22 lakh.
