Former Australian cricketer
Andrew Symonds, who died in a car accident, was once a part of India’s controversial reality show –
Bigg Boss.
The former cricketer, 46, was a part of the fifth season of Bigg Boss in the year 2011. The Australian cricketer entered the house for a period of two weeks as a special guest.
During his stay, he had learnt how to make ‘roti’ and Indian curries. After his stint was over, he spoke to news agencies about his amazing stay in the house. Andrew Symonds also became friends with
Sunny Leone, who was a part of the show then.
Speaking to agencies, Andrew had then said, “I am not offended by her choice as a contestant. I will get to know her and hope she is a fun girl. We can enjoy our stay together.”
Speaking about what frustrated Symonds the most in the house, he told PTI then, "I have no hang-ups being on camera for long hours since I have been exposed to it in the sports field. But not being able to walk out of the house with a big wall separating you from the world is very frustrating."
Juhi Parmar had won the season back then.
Shonali Nagrani, who was a part of the BB 5 season, shared on Instagram, “Struggling to process this. My deepest condolences to his family and all his fans. #rip #australiacricket #cricketer #carcrash cricket #biggboss5.”
Symonds' fatal crash comes just months after the deaths of fellow Australian greats Warne and Marsh, who both died unexpectedly from heart attacks.
Condolences to the family.
