Vivek Agnihotir’s film, ‘The Kashmir Files’ has been an eye opener for many who didn’t know about the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus in 1990’s. Recently, a Kashmiri Pandit named Rahul Bhatt was killed in the valley by terrorists in J&K's Budgam district on May 12, 2022, post whcih several netizens took to social media to demand justice for him. Now, the film's protagonist Anupam Kher has shared a post on his Twitter handle to demand justice for the departed soul. Anupam shared an image of a person wearing the sacred thread (Janeu), dripping with blood and captioned the picture as ‘#JusticeForRahulBhat’. Not just this, even film’s director Vivek Agnihotri took to his Twitter handle and wrote, ‘OMG. Just came out of rehearsal to learn about this barbaric act of terrorism. The killing of #RahulBhat is just a proof of the longest, continuous Genocide of Kashmiri Hindus. Still in shock. My prayers with the family.
