The Erode north police have registered a case and initiated an inquiry.
A police officer identified the deceased as J Radhakrishnan, a yarn commission agent. He is survived by his wife Malathi, 52, and two daughters. “Radhakrishnan was running a power loom unit, which he shut down after incurring huge losses, before becoming a commission agent for yarn.”
On Friday night, the officer said, Radhakrishnan recorded a video stating he had lost 62 lakh in an online lottery fraud and was afraid he would become addicted to the online lottery if he’s alive.
