LUCKNOW: Nine persons, including three women and a girl child, were killed in three separate road accidents in the state on Saturday.

Sandila on the Lucknow-Hardoi road on Saturday evening. As many as 10 passengers of the bus were injured in the accident.
Police said a man Ramdeen was going on a bike with two women Kusuma, Sarla and a girl child Ruhi.
They were passing through the industrial area on Lucknow-Hardoi road when a private bus ferrying passengers rammed the bike, killing all the four.
The driver lost control on the wheels and the bus fell into a trench causing injuries to 10 passengers, said Beni Madhav Tripathi, SHO, Sandila.
A police team reached the spot and the injured were rushed to the CHC.
In another road accident, three persons lost their lives and two were injured when a car collided with a jeep in Nanpara police station area of Bahraich district.
SHO of Nanpara police station Bhanu Pratap Singh said the accident took place in the wee hours of Saturday when the Lucknow-bound car carrying five persons collided head-on with a jeep on Mihinpurwa-Nanpara road. Car passengers Tirath Ram, 38, and Hardev, 22, died on the spot, while three injured persons were rushed to the medical college in Bahraich where Vinod Kumar, 28, also succumbed.
The two injured are undergoing treatment while the jeep driver has absconded. TNN
