Ludhiana reports two Covid-19 positive cases

LUDHIANA: Two persons of Ludhiana tested positive for Covid even as there was no death due disease on Sunday.
A day before, seven persons of Ludhiana had tested positive for Covid and there was no death due disease here.
Health department officials said that with no Covid death in the district on Sunday, the total number of deaths of the district remained at 2,280 whereas the number of deaths of outer districts/state in Ludhiana hospitals was 1,126.
Health department said that till date 35,48,940 suspects have been tested for Covid in Ludhiana district. It added that whereas two persons from Ludhiana tested positive for Covid, none from outer districts/states was found infected with virus on Sunday.
Local health department officials said that till Sunday total number of patients from Ludhiana district was 1,09,911 whereas with the number of cases from outer districts/states increased to 14,765.
