Three kiled as rain lashes Dima Hasao

Silchar: Three persons were killed in Dima Hasao district of Assam following a landslide on Saturday. According to the Assam state disaster management authority sources, the landslide that was triggered by torrential rainfall, following which seven people of the Kokai Pungchi locality of Haflong, the headquarters of the hill district, had gone missing. The bodies of three victims were recovered and they have been identified as Peramsuithungbe Zeme (50), Kisetiung Zeme (40), and Nchilungle Zeme (9). tnn
