Fire breaks out in nursery at Sayajibaug, one injured

Vadodara: Fire broke out in the nursery at Sayajibaug on Friday morning. Fire brigade officials who rushed to the spot took half-an-hour to douse the flames. Smoke billowed in the area for an hour.
One person was injured in the incident. It is believed that the fire may have started due to dry grass. Another incident of fire occurred at a gymnasium in Alkapuri on Friday afternoon.
The fire, it is suspected, began from air-conditioner and spread in the gym. Firemen said that short-circuit may have caused the fire. No one was injured in the incident.
