Bhubaneswar: Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday said the Centre is giving lot of importance to health infrastructure of Odisha. He said the number of medical colleges in the state increased during the time of BJP government-led by Narendra Modi. He said medical colleges have been established at Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Balangir, Koraput and Puri with the partnership of the Centre and the state. Medical colleges are coming up at Jajpur and Kalahandi. NTPC and MCL have constructed medical colleges at Sundargarh and Talcher respectively, he added. Pradhan said the Modi government is consistently helping the state government in increasing PG seats in the medical colleges at Berhampur, Cuttack and Sambalpur.
