CGBSE 10th, 12th Results 2022 Live: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has declared the class 10, 12 result today. The result was announced via press conference at 12 noon. Candidates can check their results at the official website – cgbse.nic.in

The CGBSE Class 12 board exams were conducted from March 2 to March 30, 2022. The exams were held between 9 am to 12:15 pm. Class 10 exams were conducted from March 3 to March 23, 2022.  As per a recent announcement by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the state government has decided that all the Board toppers of classes 10 and 12 of this year will be rewarded with a free helicopter ride.

To check results, students have to click on the tab of CGBSE class 12 board results. Enter the required credentials like roll number, registration number, or verification code to log in. The result will appear on the screen. 

Last year,4.61 lakh students registered to appear in class 10 boards out of which 4,46,393 students scored first division which is 96.81 per cent of the total result declared. As many as 9024 students got second division. A total of 5676 students got the third division in class 10 exams.

CGBSE Class 12 result at a glance

In class 12, Ritesh Kumar Sahi topped the exams this year by scoring 95.60 per cent. For class 12, the overall pass percentage is at 79.30 per cent this year, which is higher than the pass percentage of class 10. Here, too, girls have outperformed boys as 81.15 per cent girl students have passed the class 12 exams, whereas only 77.03 per cent boys passed the exams. Read more.

Meet CGBSE Class 10 toppers

This year, Suman Patel from Raigarh and Sonali Bala from Kanker have topped the class 10 exams with 98.67 per cent. Meanwhile, the second position has been earned by six students by scoring 98.17 per cent; these students are Ashifa Shah from Kawardha, Damini Verma from Rajnandgaon, Jay Prakash from Bilaspur, Muskan Agarwal from Raigarh, Kahef Anjum and Kamlesh Sarkar from Kanker.

CGBSE Class 10, 12 pass percentage below 80%

The passing percentage this year is lower than the pass percentage of 2020 as 74.23 per cent of students have cleared the class 10 exams and 79.30 per cent have passed the class 12 exams.

Opportunity of re-evaluation and re-checking for students

Such students who will not be able to pass in any way will have an opportunity to apply for the revaluation and rechecking process. Along with this, the failed students will be able to apply for the improvement examination to be conducted by the board immediately after the release of the result.

CGBSE 2021 result at a glance

A total of 2,89,023 candidates had registered for the CGBSE class 12 exams in 2021. Of which, 2,86,850 appeared for it. The result was declared for 2,84,107 candidates; 341 students were to get their results later. Of these, 1,55,769 were girls and 1,20,561 boys. A total of 2,71,151 lakh students had achieved first division, followed by 5570 candidates in the second division.

CGBSE Pass percentage in 2021

In 2021, the overall pass percentage in CGBSE Class 12 results was recorded to be 97.43 per cent. A total of 98.43 per cent girls and 96.69 per cent boys had cleared the exam. A total of 2,77,563 students had passed Chhattisgarh Board CGBSE Class 12 in 2020, taking the overall pass percentage at 70.69 per cent.

In 2020, the CG Board topper scored 97.80% marks

In 2020, a total of 2,77,563 students passed the CGBSE Class 12 exam, bringing the overall pass percentage to 70.69 percent. A total of 1,40,221 female students passed with an 82.02 percent passing rate, while 1,29,315 male students appeared and passed with a 74.70 percent passing rate. Tikesh Vaishnav, with 97.80 percent, was the class 12 topper in 2020, followed by Shriya Agarwal (97 percent) and Tanu Yadav (96.06 percent )

How CGBSE conducted Class 12 exams this year

This year, all the class 10, and 12 board exams were conducted in offline mode. Last year, however, class 12 students in Chhattisgarh took their board exams from their homes. At the examination centers, all students were given question papers and answer sheets, and they were instructed to submit them within 5 days of receiving them.

The Chhattisgarh Board Of Secondary Education (CGBSE) will declare the state HS (class 12) results today at 12 noon. Students can check their results at the board’s official site cgbse.nic.in or at results.cg.nic.in. 

Last year, a total of 2.84 lakh students appeared for the CGBSE exams, out of which 2.71 lakh students scored first division, 5,570 got second division, and 79 students got third division. CGBSE class 12 exams were held in an open-book format.HS students attempted the board exams in remote mode. Students were supposed to submit their answer sheets within five days of receiving the question papers. Exams were given from home.
