West Bengal government plans to set up a Banga Bhavan in Varanasi

KOLKATA: The state government is planning to set up a Banga Bhavan in Varanasi. A meeting was held in this regard on Friday.
The officials discussed the feasibility of building a Banga Bhavan and how to go ahead with the construction of the new structure.
Chief minister Mamata Banerjee during her trip to Varanasi in early March had conceived the idea of setting up the Banga Bhavan. After returning to Kolkata, Banerjee discussed the issue with the officials.The chief minister has plans to set up a wing for the widows and elderly women as well.
