Fire breaks out at society, four rescued

Gurgaon: A fire broke out in a flat on the 10th floor of a housing society in Sector 52 on Saturday night. According to the fire department, four people and a dog were rescued. A fire department official said seven fire tenders were sent to the spot after they received a call at 10.17pm. He said it took one hour to douse the fire. All tenders were sent from Sector 29 fire station. Gulshan Kalra, deputy director, fire department, said, “One floor was completely gutted. It appears to be a case of short circuit. There was no loss of life.” TNN
