Hyderabad clocks 28 Covid cases amid dip in Telangana tally

HYDERABAD: Telangana recorded 39 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, of which 28 were in Hyderabad. The current positivity rate is 0.3%. The total count of cases recorded so far in the state stand to 7,92,474.
The death toll stands at 4,111 on Thursday, as no death was recorded for over two months now.
A total of 28 patients were declared recovered, taking the total tally of recoveries so far to 7,87,961. Currently there are 402 patients under treatment. The recovery rate currently stands at 99.43% while fatality rate stands at 0.51%.
On Thursday, a total of 13,422 samples were tested. Telangana has now completed testing 3.47 crore samples and has reached 9.34 lakh sample testing per million population. “It is important to complete vaccination and it is also equally important to adhere to precautions,” advised the health department.
