Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Friday at 10:24AM

Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 5.91%), & Fertilizers(up 3.54%), ZUARIAGRO(up 3.32%), KRISHANA(up 3.26%), Madras Fertlizers(up 3.06%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 2.77%), G S F C(up 2.66%), Coromandel International(up 2.56%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 2.48%) and Aries Agro(up 2.27%) were among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 4.98%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 3.30%) and Fertilizers (down 2.77%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 146.85 points up at 15954.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 432.82 points at 53363.13 at around 10:24AM.

Tata Motors(up 8.43%), UPL Ltd(up 3.26%), Titan Company Ltd(up 3.06%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 2.75%), Hindustan Unilever(up 2.49%), Larsen & Toubro(up 2.48%), Bajaj Auto(up 2.43%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.4%), Coal India(up 2.36%) and Britannia Industries(up 2.29%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, NTPC(down 1.25%), Bharti Airtel(down 1.21%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.85%), Wipro(down 0.45%), ICICI Bank(down 0.42%), Hindalco Industries(down 0.37%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.29%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.26%), Shree Cement(down 0.18%) and SBI Life(down 0.13%) were trading in the red.
