Mumbai airport to host 45-day ‘Summer Carnival’ for passengers

MUMBAI: Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL) on Friday said that it will host a `Summer Carnival', starting May 15 with fun activities and discounts across its food and beverage outlets.
"Travellers can grab delicious food combos or claim their discounts at retail outlets during the 45-day long carnival," said MIAL.
Domestic air travel has picked up in the recent past after a dip experienced early this year during the Covid third wave.
International scheduled airline flights recommenced on March 27 and in the first month, the Mumbai airport handled 6.3 lakh passengers with about 120 daily flights to about 41 international destinations.
