The Indian Premier League (IPL) continues to serve up incredible stories, one after another. In another shocking incident on Friday, a cat interrupted play during the clash between Punjab Kings and Royal Challenges Bangalore at the Brabourne Stadium.
RCB skipper Faf du Plessis was seen asking to halt play as the cat sat on the sightscreen. Du Plessis asked the umpires to intervene, and as soon as the incident was seen on cameras, fans were also bewildered by the same.
The incident happened during the first over of RCB's chase, as they came out to scale a mountain of a target of 210 runs, set by Punjab Kings.

RCB openers Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis were on strike at the time, and the South African had just smacked a four off Harpreet Brar's over before the play was halted.
Umpires intervened, and suddenly the cat started to move.

Meanwhile, the match turned out to be in favour of the Punjab Kings, as they defeated RCB by 54 runs.
Mayank Agarwal and co kept their hopes of reaching the playoffs alive with the win, while RCB will have to rely on results elsewhere to reach the playoffs now.
