Less than a minute before the final whistle was blown in Friday's Currie Cup encounter between the Pumas and Western Province, some of the floodlights went off.
Western Province recorded just their second victory of this season's Currie Cup with a hard-fought 23-17 win over the Pumas at Mbombela Stadium.
However, in a bizarre fashion, the lights at the stadium went out due to loadshedding with 40 seconds to play with the Pumas on the attack.
Fans watching the action started switching on their phones to light up the part of the stadium left in the dark.
After the delay, the lights slowly came on, with play resuming and Province clinching the win.
