The sentencing of the man who murdered Mohamed Dangor at his father's Klerksdorp car dealership was postponed to June.
The delay was a result of incomplete psychiatric reports, which needed to be submitted by the probation officer.
On Friday, Confidence Sekgoro appeared in the Klerksdorp Regional Court for sentencing after he was found guilty of killing Dangor in February.
According to National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Henry Mamothame, the probation officer indicated that her report had been completed, but she was still awaiting the psychiatric report requested by the defence attorney for sentencing purposes.

In April 2019, Sekgoro bought a car at Speedy Car Sales in Klerksdorp.
After the purchase and collection of the vehicle, he took it to Mafikeng, but later complained that the car was faulty.
The dealership took it back for inspection, said Mamothame.
He said that, during the inspection, the results showed no faults as it had previously been serviced.
"The dealership ordered Sekgoro to pay for the costs of transportation before they could release his car back to him.
"He then approached the High Court in the North West Division on an urgent basis for his car to be given back.
"The court, however, dismissed his application and the matter was struck off the roll," said Mamothame.
On 11 November 2019, Sekgoro went to the dealership to collect his motor vehicle, but the sales manager, Mehboob Soomra, 36, after consulting with the dealership attorney, told him to pay for the transportation costs.
According to Mamothame, Sekgoro was told to wait for Mohamed Dangor, who was the son of the dealership's owner to further engage on the matter.
"Sekgoro then went to Dangor's office, who was in the company of Yusuf Ally, 61. An argument ensued before he started shooting at them.
"He proceeded to chase after Soomra in the showroom and fired shots at him," said Mamothame.
Dangor was declared dead at the scene.
Soomra and Ally sustained serious injuries and were rushed to hospital for medical care.
After the shooting incident, Mamothame said Sekgoro asked for directions to the police station, handed himself in, and was later granted R10 000 bail.
During the trial, Sekgoro claimed he had acted in self-defence as Dangor had a firearm and threatened to shoot him.
"This submission was, however, dismissed, through video footage that was accepted by the court as evidence," said Mamothame.
An expert testified as to the authenticity of the footage.
The State prosecutor, advocate Riekie Krause, argued that Sekgoro's action was premeditated, to which the court agreed, said Mamothame.
The matter was postponed to 10 June.
