3 suffer burns as stove catches fire

Thane: Three employees of a laundry unit in Diva suffered burn injuries after a gas stove they were using to prepare lunch caught fire resulting in a blast on Thursday afternoon. Avinash Sawant, chief of regional disaster management cell, said victims Hiraman Kanojia, K Kanojia and Ajay Kanojia were taken to a nearby hospital and later shifted to Sion Hospital as they suffered major burns. tnn
