Bajaj Consumer(up 7.41%), Dangee Dums(up 7.03%), Umang Dairies(up 6.25%), Godrej Consumer Products(up 5.37%), DFM Foods(up 5.34%), Future Consumer(up 4.65%), Zydus Wellness(up 3.99%), Varun Beverages(up 3.80%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(up 3.62%) and Vadilal Industries(up 2.81%) were among the top gainers.
Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(down 13.07%), Nakoda Group(down 5.00%), Euro India Fresh Foods(down 3.25%) and Emami(down 2.83%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 194.45 points up at 16002.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 562.12 points at 53492.43 at around 11:10AM.
Tata Motors(up 9.39%), Bajaj Auto(up 4.13%), Titan Company Ltd(up 3.7%), UPL Ltd(up 3.61%), Hero MotoCorp(up 3.53%), Coal India(up 3.38%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 3.31%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 3.21%), Reliance Industries(up 2.95%) and Larsen & Toubro(up 2.75%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, NTPC(down 2.42%), Bharti Airtel(down 1.33%), ICICI Bank(down 0.43%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.4%), Wipro(down 0.32%), Hindalco Industries(down 0.17%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.12%) and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.06%) were trading in the red.
