Vadodara: The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has made a series of suggestions to ensure it benefits from the two town planning (TP) schemes coming up in the Tarsali area of the city. The civic body is looking to have larger plots and better road alignment in the area. The drafts of Tarsali TP schemes 38 and 39 were sent to the state government in 2015. The drafts were cleared by the state government in 2016. The drafts were sent to the VMC by the chief town planner recently for further consultations. VMC commissioner Shalini Agarwal stated that the civic body has sought vacant plots in the schemes instead of encroached ones. VMC has also suggested that the road lines should be such that they are aligned with the roads of other TP schemes adjoining the Tarsali TP schemes 38 and 39. The VMC is getting plots reserved for various purposes in the two TP schemes. However, these are small and scattered. Instead, the civic body has sought larger plots in its suggestions.
