Hyper-light laptops allow employees to embrace working from anywhere, and Dynabook's newest range offers incredible power and portability, driven by the latest Intel 12th gen Core processors.

The pandemic accelerated working from home initiatives in many companies and while workers worldwide saw the benefits of reduced commute times and greater lifestyle benefits, it was also clear workplace collaboration was not as seamless as in the office. Not even six months ago it looked like many workplaces were starting to encourage employees back to the office full-time, but it’s hybrid working that has won out.

With a continued need for mobility, and with hybrid working here to stay, this is the perfect time to upgrade business laptops.

Dynabook ANZ product marketing manager Matthew Tumminello spoke with iTWireTV about the current Dynabook laptop range, designed with hybrid workers in mind.

Matthew spoke about the great advantages of the Intel 12th gen Core processors, and other features of Dynabook’s ultra-light laptop range such as the Eyesafe display to reduce blue light and protect eyes.

Matthew spoke about the AI-driven Dynabook Online Meeting Assist which provides virtual backgrounds and other effects at the hardware level - allowing you to set your background for all your conferencing apps in one go. In fact, this even gives you virtual backgrounds for apps like AWS Chime and Google Meet which natively offer fewer features here than Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

Matthew told iTWire about specific Dynabook laptop models such as the remarkable Dynabook X40L-K laptop - weighing only 1.05kg and measuring 15.9mm thick, and the 14” Dynabook Portégé X40-K with its premium chassis, and the 14” Tecra A40-K and 15” Tecra A50-K models.

Despite being so powerful, Dynabook's engineers have achieved a remarkable feat in installing so much in such slim and light cases - while still providing military-spec durability.

Matthew also spoke about how Dynabook laptops cater for the hybrid worker in Australia, and how the Toshiba heritage continues to shine through Dynabook’s modern range. In fact, Matthew spoke of the longevity of many of the Toshiba/Dynabook team which, in my view, speaks volumes about how the organisation treats its people and has created an enviable culture where people want to work and to stay.

Check out our talk here, and all of Matthew's great insights and anecdotes as he explains, with passion and gusto, why businesses of all sizes need to give Dynabook a serious look when purchasing its next set of laptops.
