Haryana reports 383 new Covid-19 cases, 1 death

CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Wednesday reported 383 new cases and one death while 23268 persons got the vaccine jabs during the day. Notably, it Covid death has occurred after seven days.
With this the cumulative Covid count of the state has gone to 997759 cases, 984985 recoveries, 10621 deaths and 2130 active cases. Of the total active cases only 41 are hospitalized.
Highest 279 cases were reported from Gurugram followed by 69 cases from Faridabad. Gurugram also reported one death.Six cases were reported from Jhajjar followed by five from Rohtak and four cases each from Hisar, Panchkula and Panipat districts.
Three cases was reported from Karnal while two cases each were reported from Ambala, Kurukshetra and Kaithal districts. While one case each was reported from Palwal, Yamunanagar and Sonipat districts respectively
On the vaccination front, of the total vaccinations of the day, first dose was given to 4492 persons while second dose was given to 9696 persons. 9080 were given the booster dose.
The cumulative vaccination in the state has gone to 42965599.
